Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton

The Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton (WRS) is a non-profit, charitable organization that provides compassionate care for injured and orphaned wildlife and promotes understanding and respect for wildlife through education. WRS has been serving the community since 1989. We annually treat over 1,000 wildlife patients, field over 5,000 wildlife related calls from the community, and provide education on human/wildlife interactions to more than 5,000 students.

For 2012 we have set a goal to raise $30,000 from our annual Run/Walk Wild for Wildlife. Please help us reach this goal by: registering to particpate in the run/walk, sponsoring a participant, or making online donations. Thank you!

The Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton has moved its wildlife care shelter to Spruce Grove as of August 13th, 2010.

We have partnered with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) and will be leasing a 53 acre property from them which has 16 acres of farmland which we are able to develop on. Please read more about our move here.
